Romania
In Romania, the tour is organized by Inf’OMG Romania, an NGO based in Cluj Napoca that provides objective alternative information about GMOs in Romania and which raises public awareness about the social, economic and environmental impact of this application of biotechnology. Inf’OMG was created because of the lack of information on GMOs in Romania.
The Tomato Tour will be coordinated by Inf’OMG Romania with close cooperation with the National Federation of Organic farmers. Organic farmers will join the tour at 5 of the locations.
